Telling stories of river communities and their countries through film, forums, lecture demonstrations and workshops, this series is designed to provide fresh perspectives on river communities.

Water Views events are open to the public and, while no bookings are necessary, there is limited seating available – arrive early if you can.

Riverfestival is throwing down the gauntlet to Brisbane’s advertising gurus in a fun and interactive forum to explore the tools of behaviour change. The pitch? Create a billboard to sell the concept of Odds and Evens Shower Days!

The Water Balance Forum
South East Queensland residents are rising to the challenge of saving water but what are our options? This forum will discuss innovations in reusing our precious water resources: from storm water run-off to grey water recycling.

Hearing the City
Listen to the sounds of your city with fresh ears as Hearing the City delivers an original Brisbane concerto composed of the noises and vibrations of our built and natural environment.

Water Views Education Program
This special program developed specifically for high school students focuses on the management of our rivers and the role we all play to maintain our environment, no matter where we live.
