An initiative of the Redland Spring Festival presented as part of Riverfestival
Celebrate the change of season in a vibrant weekend of culture and community for the Leisure Life Redland Spring Festival’s inaugural Watershed program.
Launching Watershed, the Redland Spring Festival celebrates with an exciting opening event on Friday, September 7. Earth Fire Air Water – An Oratorio is a gala concert featuring a massed children’s choir and young featured artists performing alongside indigenous musician William Barton, actor Paul Bishop, unique Australian composer Sarah Hopkins, Shenzo the Stunt Violinist and the Raw Dance team.
Recognising that sustainability of water is a critical global and local issue, this year’s Redland Spring Festival boasts a whole weekend of creative and environmental workshops on topics like lantern making, no-dig gardening, street theatre, bush food gardens and water harvesting.
Appealing to children and adults alike, the concurrent program of dance, theatre, poetry and musical performances provides constant entertainment over the three days of the festival.
