10th International Riversymposium and Environmental Flows Conference in partnership with the Nature Conservancy
The International Riversymposium is the leading forum for sharing experience, expertise and knowledge on the world’s river systems.
International, national and regional thought leaders and practitioners will present on river management, exploring solutions to the pressing needs of our rivers.
For the first time, the symposium is being delivered in partnership with one of the leading environmental organisations, The Nature Conservancy.
The conference will focus on the hot topic environmental flows, which are the minimum flows of water in our streams and rivers that are considered necessary to maintain healthy aquatic ecosystems.
Decision makers across the world from the International Riverfoundation, The Nature Conservancy, International Water Management Institute, The World Conservation Union, International Rivers Network, UNESCO, Australian Federal Government, WWF International, World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Healthy Waterways will deliver key addresses amongst scientific experts, economists, lawyers, policy makers and community leaders.
